Rebecca is an artist, designer, and now writer whose life is experiencing some ups and downs following the onset of an as-of-yet undiagnosed chronic illness. She is a self taught embroidery artist using all of her granny’s old hoops, and she enjoys stitching whenever possible. She studied theatre production at York University and has worked as a designer and scenic carpenter in theatre and film. She spent four years working, living, and studying in Toronto, but she is now currently living in Ottawa. While the winter weather confines her mostly to her apartment, she finds joy in reading, sketching, and taking way too many photos of her beautiful amaryllis.
